What Causes Acne?

If you believe that not taking good care of your skin is what caused your acne, think again. Since the hormones play a part in the production of acne. They increase the amount of oil generated by your skin. Acne develops as a coating of dead skin cells accumulates on the pores.
Acne fades with age for some individuals, while it worsens for others, and this is due to the immune system’s role and other genetic factors.

The function of your immune system and other genetic factors Causes of Acne Scars Acne can be classified into two subtypes – Non-Inflammatory and Inflammatory.

Whiteheads and blackheads are examples of noninflammatory acne, whereas papules, pustules, nodules, and cysts are examples of inflammatory acne.
Of these, inflammatory acne is the most likely to cause lesions and bruises.
Excess oil, dead cells, and bacteria clog the pores, resulting in inflamed acne blemishes. As a result of this, the pores enlarge, allowing the follicle walls to stretch and crack.

The resultant acne lesion is normally mild and heals easily if the rupture happens near the surface of your skin. The lesion may be more serious if the follicle split is deep, and the contaminated material can leak out into the dermis, killing healthy skin tissues.
